Background
The development of Blue Ware is a result of over 20 years of marketing,
retail and merchandising consulting engagements with Fortune 500 companies,
small businesses and start-ups. During this 20 year span,
Blue Pencil associates have worked with hundreds of retailers:
Financial institutions, service providers, consumer goods manufacturers,
business–to–business providers and distribution companies.
The projects we encountered centered on creating ways to improve market
awareness, market share, as well as gain greater sales performance and
profitability. In some cases, achieving success involved extensive market
evaluation and planning. In others it required brand experience management,
while yet in others it required the development of effective
end-user/consumer communications.
As time passed and as a variety of exciting new business opportunities
arose with tight budget constraints, it became increasingly evident
that a huge need existed for businesses of all shapes and sizes, but
especially for those who have limited marketing expertise and financial
resources. The need was simple, yet complex – a need for affordable
communications and merchandising solutions that could help businesses
achieve success. Central to this need was figuring out how to offer
pre-designed, yet fully customizable, high quality graphics at an
affordable price.
Many years have passed since the “light bulb” first lit, but then great
ideas are like wine – they get better with age. Today, the Blue Ware
product line offers a range of royalty-free template graphics and merchandising
programs for financial institutions and retailers. In the months to come,
the Blue Ware product lines will continue to evolve touching on new industry,
merchandising and communications opportunities.
What We Offer
Blue Ware is an offering of royalty-free marketing communications, whose
development was strategically driven to help small to mid-sized financial
institutions and retailers in their delivery of product and service communications. Our
intent was to –
- assist marketing managers in the tactical delivery of their marketing strategy
- provide design support to marketing managers who have limited in-house design
capabilities or limited access to graphic designers
- offer high quality design at an affordable price point
- deliver turnkey customizable marketing solutions that reflect the proper brand image
Central to Blue Ware is our belief that good design and good marketing
communications don’t have to be cost prohibitive. Thus, Blue Ware was created.
Our goal is to offer smaller businesses the ability to market “on equal footing”
with their larger competitors, while working with a much smaller budget.
Design, imagery and content can cost a lot of money. Just ask any marketer.
Blue Ware is based on the delivery of stock, standard, template design that
utilizes royalty free imagery. Our offering is built upon a catalog of
template original artwork that is easily customizable. A variety of designs and
products are available, including posters, banners, counter cards, brochures,
statement stuffers, direct mailers and newspaper ads. All for a fraction of
the cost and time normally required to produce items of similar quality.
Blue Ware products are available for both MAC and PC platforms in a variety of
software choices, such as QuarkXpress, PageMaker, InDesign or Freehand.
